Breathe, and let go!

Tässä on nyt monta ensimmäistä kertaa: Ensimmäinen junk journalini, ensimmäinen itse sidottu kirjani, ensimmäinen youtube-videoni. Eikä tuo Gel Pressikään ole ollut minulla kuin kaksi viikkoa, joten siinäkin puuhassa olen aivan alokkaana. Mutta olin niin innostunut tästä ja tämän tekeminen oli  hauskaa! Kirjansitomismenetelmäni olivat varsin epätieteellisiä, ja opit siihen hankittu ihan vain youtubesta. Monta kertaa tuli mieleen, että oikeasti, saanko minä tämän kasaan... ja tein monta virhettäkin. Mutta lopputuloksesta tuli omaksikin yllätykseksi melko tukeva.
Gel Press printit kirjan sivuilla auttavat nopsasti yli valkoisen sivun kammosta: on paljon helpompaa lähteä työstämään sivua, jossa on jo valmiiksi jotain väriä. Oli todella rentouttavaa vain antaa mennä ja antaa jokaisen aivopierun vain vapaasti tulla tupsahtaa kirjan sivuille. Olen käyttänyt kirjan sivuille pöydälläni lojuvaa sälää ja atc-vaihtojen mukana saatuja koristeita. Ja mixed media hengessä näissä on akryylimaaleja, vesivärejä, geelikyniä, lyijykynää, liimaa, mediumeja, kangasta, paperia... mitä vaan! Aloittelijan onni oli tämä 😍

Here is a lot of first times: my first self-binded book, my first junk journal/Junk art journal, my first YouTube video. And also i have had Gel Press plate only for two weeks so i am a beginner in that also.  But i was so exited about making this, and had a lots of fun! I have never bonded a book, so i made many mistakes, because my methods were taken from youtube videos. So i am quite surprised, that the book really does not fall apart. Gel Press printed pages helps me out from a artist´s block, it is lot easier to start when there is some color on the page already. To decorate the pages i used a lot of scrap material from my desk and the ephemera that i got from atc swap friends. And in the name of mixed media, here you can find acrylics, watercolors, gel pens, pencil, glue, mediums, fabric, paper... whatever!
So relaxing just to DO. Beginner´s happiness it is 😍

More than Words Challenge: i used all of my LEISURE time to this on the past week...and i was very happy about it! i SPLATTED and relaxed and had a lots of fun! Some of the pages have also PAINT SPLASHES.
