Let's celebrate

I made these congratulations cards with Stamping Bella "Lacey has a letter" stamp. Coloured with Derwent intense pens. Butterfly girl background is made with distress oxides and the black floral lace in other card came with atc swap from my craft friend.

Tein nämä onnittelukortit Stamping Bellan  Lacey has a letter leimalla. Väritin ne Derwent intense kynillä. Perhostytön taustalla on distress oxideja ja musta pitsitausta on valmis kortti koriste, jonka sain atc-vaihtokaverilta.

I participate to Try II on Tuesday challenge with this card. I added some gold wax to the surface of the card, but it does not show in the picture.

#luovuus

Craftaamon ensimmäinen haaste julkaistiin alkukuusta. Inspiraatiokuvassa on upeat sateenkaaren värit ja inspiraatiosanana on "luovuus". Mitä se on? Wikipedian mukaan luovuus on ihmisen kyky tuottaa uutta. Se on sitä, kun lamppu syttyy päässä ja ideat alkavat soljua käsien kautta toteutuksiksi. Tässä yksi atc-kortti, joka syntyi pienen luovan hetken tuotoksena.

I made this atc card for a Craftaamo craft meeting challenge. Moodboard had awesome rainbow colors and theme word is "Creativity". But what is creativity? Wikipedia says that it is the ability to create something new. It is the moment, when light bulb turns on in your head and ideas flow trough your hands to paper. Here is one single arc-card that was created in one of those moments.

Kevättä rinnassa

Blogi on ollut viime aikoina hiljainen, koska olen ollut äärimmäisen kiireinen pipertelypajan ulkopuolisessa elämässä. Inspiraatio kärsii kiireestä, joten lyhyinä vapaahetkinäkään ei ole syntynyt juuri mitään... Mutta eilen kaivoin esiin vuoden verran laatikon pohjalla kelluneen Altenewin Birch land leimasetin ja tein pari keväistä korttia. Tonic Studion leimailutyökalusta oli iso apu tätä tehdessä, sai eri osaset hyvin kohdistettua oikein. Leimamusteina käytin archival inkejä ja distress oxideja.  Osallistun ensimmäisellä kortilla Jehkotar Craft Challengen toukokuun haasteeseen moodboardin kirkkaansinisen kevättaivaan inspiroimana. 

It has been quiet here in my blog for a while, because i have been extremely busy at the outside of my craft room. And as being stressed out, there is no place for inspiration to come. But yesterday i had the time to crab this Altenew Birch Land stamp set and create some spring-ish cards. I used Tonic studio stamping tool to make parts fit together and stamped with archival inks and distress oxides.

Baby on board

Tein vähän isomman (20x20cm) kokoisen kortin työkaverin jäädessä mammalomalle. Kortti oli sen verran iso, että koko porukan nimet saatiin hyvin sopimaan sisäsivulle ihanan Anne-Mari Kaskisen runon lisäksi. Ihanaa loppuodotusta Kaisalle ❤️

Big 20x20 card for my colleague, who started her maternity leave today. Inside the card is beautiful poem from Finnish poet Anne-Mari Kaskinen.

Kevään valmistujais- ja YO-juhlat lähenevät ja korttilaari on tyhjä. Joten korttiaskartelua kevään juhliin, aivan ihanalla Piia Paperista tilaamallani Visible Imagen kukkaleimalla.

Spring is coming, and so are all the celebrations of graduates and confirmations. Card stock is almost empty so card making it is. I used the my new favorite stamp from Visible image.

Splashes are made with finetec pearl color, but they do nor show properly in the picture.

Takatalvi tulla tupsahti keskelle kauneinta kevättä! Yritän silti luottaa siihen, että kevät vielä tekee tuloaan... ja kevään juhlat. Olenkin lähiaikoina keskittynyt kasaamaan puolivalmiita töitä onnittelukorteiksi. Tässä pari korttia, joista ensimmäisellä osallistuminen tämän kuun Jehkotar Craft Challengeen bingorivillä vesiväri-revitty-embossaus. Kokeilin embossata vesivärikartongille  Stampendouksen haasteelliseksi kokemallani isolla kukkaleimalla. Päälle brusho-vesiväriä ja aika kivoja taustoja tulee!

We allready had so nice spring weather, but winter came back! It has been raining snow for two days now. I still try to believe, that spring is coming... and all the graduation- and confirmation parties. So lately i have been working with half-ready materials and building up cards from them.
